It was Jack Smith's day at the House Judiciary Committee hearing. Republicans wasted their time trying to get "gotcha” moments about the subpoenaed call records of Representatives and Senators. It seemed as if every single Republican tried to make him say something wrong. The problem was, Trump called Republicans on January 6th, which they had from testimony, so Smith's staff did their job and wanted verification that the calls were made. That's it. Trump had to do a Truth Social post halfway through the hearing.
After the end of the hearing, Donald had to do another because Jack stood up to the heat of the moment and didn't fall into any traps that the Republicans were trying to set for him.
Accusing someone of perjury is a serious charge. Before Donald Trump is ever allowed to say something like that, he should testify under oath himself and stop hiding behind his social media failure, Truth Social. Jack Smith had already proved himself in the closed-door hearing, and he proved it again in this public hearing that he was cool, calm, and collected, and hardly deranged.
Trump thought it was time to do another PR attempt.

How it's going for Trump is dismal. His one-year victory lap speech crashed. He looked even worse than the next day at Davos, and proved once again that it's TACO time. Trump Aways Chickens Out, and he canceled the 10% February 1st, and 25% on June 1st, tariffs that he was going to charge on European countries that sent troops to Greenland to protect it. He said he wasn't going to use force to take Greenland. He now has a framework of a concept.
He had to make his version of what he thinks is a humorous joke that will deflect from the Epstein files once again, by him talking about a fourth term of president, when he hasn't even gotten the third yet, which he never will.
The record numbers are the fact that he's got the worst numbers ever on every front. A minimum of 86% of the public thinks he's crazy about his plans about Greenland. His general approval rating at last check was 36% and going downhill.
Trump then decided to add to Rep. Ilhan Omar's defamation case evidence. Trump thinks he's immune from everything, but he's not. He can still be sued for defamation and he's done it too many times to Omar.
Donald Trump is the last person in the world that should be saying someone is using their position to enrich themselves. Trump needs to be under oath and telling the American public why he's enriched himself by $1.4 billion at a minimum since he took office. It's the investigation into Trump that should start now. The only thing Trump didn't do was accuse her of marrying her brother again.
The other big thing on his mind is still Jerome Powell and the Federal Reserve. He's still trying to pressure to get interest rates reduced when the Federal Reserve makes its decisions based on real world information not Donald Trump's whims.
Donald has once again shown his multiple personality problem by talking about himself in third person as “TRUMP!” Right. There is no other reason for interest rates to be where they are except for people that hate Trump. When that's at least half of the population of the United States, and growing massively in the hate direction, he knows he's going to lose in trying to fire Powell.
Having gotten Jerome Powell out of the way it was time to attack Gavin Newsom again. Newsom laughed at Trump during Davos and Trump can't stand that.
Funny that Trump would call Newsome a lame duck governor, when he is a lame duck president. With California being the fourth largest economy in the world, Gavin Newsom has every right to be at the world economic forum. He did not make a fool of himself like Donald Trump. What a blithering idiot. But he still wasn't finished. If anyone needs to talk about someone having a deranged mind, then Donald Trump comes up with it on this post about NATO.
This is the most insane idea anyone could ever come up with. When are NATO partners hear about it, they will either be aghast or rolling on the floor laughing. I can never tell what they're going to do next. They finally seem to have put Donald Trump in his place at Davos. Donald Trump permanently forgets that Border Patrol agents only have a operating authority within a hundred miles of a border. That's it. Sending them anywhere else beyond that distance is actually an illegal use and they have no authority.
Trump finished up with a post to Canadian Prime Minister carney, inviting him out to be on the Board of Peace. Considering that Donald Trump is the chairman of the board, I think every country and every leader should pass on joining Trump's imitation of the United Nations. Especially since he wants a billion dollar membership fee to stay as a permanent member.
So, Donald Trump has lived up to the title I gave him gave him on his TIME magazine cover. He is the biggest dicknose in history.
